Spencer is an award-winning Engineer, Mixer, Producer, and Songwriter based in Vancouver, Canada. He started his career at the legendary Armoury Studios, where he was fortunate enough to be in the room for Ariana Grande’s debut album Yours Truly, and the Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars hit, “Uptown Funk.” He went on to serve as the 2nd Engineer on Elvis Costello’s Grammy-winning album Look Now, and OneRepublic’s platinum album Human.

Since then, Spencer has Engineered projects ranging from Colin James’s Juno-winning album Open Road, to the Grammy-nominated, Emmy-winning soundtrack for Schmigadoon!. His work has earned him widespread industry recognition, including the 2022 BC Country Music Award for Recording Professional of The Year, and Best Engineer at the 2026 Western Canadian Music Awards.

In addition to producing and mixing traditional stereo music across a wide variety of genres, Spencer is an experienced Dolby Atmos Mixer. His immersive mixing credits include Fionn's scum. album and Dallas Smith's Side Effects album. Today, he is the head Engineer and Mixer at 604 Studios, and splits his time between 604 and his private home studio, producing and mixing for major-label and independent projects.
